I have a Brother Innovis NX 450
It is a thing of beauty and so easy to use-- although I have no idea how to.
It threads the needle for you and cuts the thread when you're finished. It even ties a loop around the end in case you don't feel like pressing the back-stitch button.
I get free sewing lessons from the store I bought it (Laura's Fabrics) however when I signed up and took the whole day to get there, the two people working didn't know how to use my machine so I have to go back again on my long weekend.
Regardless, it is amazing and I'm looking forward to knowing more.
Also, I have decided that I am such a noob that I will need to use patterns as easy and simple as possible and get as much help as possible to determine what they're talking about when they say notches and garter and -- well I don't know because I wouldn't know what it is that they are called, but regardless, I need to know more!
